In the article, “Angry Iraqis Bury Friendly-Fire Victims,” eight Iraqi police officers were shot and killed in a friendly-fire incident. A U.S.-trained paramilitary group used discretion when they opened fire on an unmarked Iraqi police truck which had a machine gun mounted on top of it.
